Ingredients
- 400g Arborio Rice
- 400g Fresh Pork Sausage
- 50g Butter
- 80g Grana Padano
Instructions
- In a pot, add 1L of water and a generous pinch of salt, then bring to a boil
- Gently pour 400g of Arborio Rice into the boiling water and DO NOT STIR
- Let cook until the water has reduced and the top of the rice grains becomes visible
- Reduce the heat to a gentle boil and cover the pot to cook for 8 minutes, leaving a small gap for steam to escape
- In a large pan, melt the 50g of Butter, then add your 400g of Fresh Pork Sausage, after removing the casing and flattening them slightly
- Cook the Sausages on Medium-High heat until they form a crust on each side
- After 8 minutes, remove the rice from the heat and wrap the lid in a towel, letting it steam for another 10 minutes
- Once the sausages are cooked, transfer them to a bowl and break them apart into small pieces
- Combine the Cooked Rice with the Sausages, and grate 80g of Grana Padano over it, stirring everything together to combine
- Serve
