Korean Cucumber Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Cucumber
  • 56g Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Green Onion
  • 3g Chili Flakes
  • 6g Sesame Seeds
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 15g Soy Sauce
  • 10g Rice Vinegar
  • 5g MSG

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat 56g of Vegetable oil until very hot
  2. Slice a cucumber in 2-4mm slices
  3. In a bowl, combine your Cucumber slices with 1tsp of Salt
  4. Leave for 20-30 minutes, then rinse under cold water
  5. In a heat-resistant bowl mix:
    1. 1 Green onion, finely sliced
    2. 6g Spicy Flakes
    3. 6g Sesame Seeds
    4. 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
    5. 15g Soy Sauce
    6. 10g Rice Vinegar
    7. 5g MSG
  6. Pour the hot oil over the ingredients and let sit for 5 minutes
  7. Add the sliced cucumber and toss
